Workshops

Golf can feel intimidating when you’re just starting out. Between the rules, terminology, and unspoken etiquette, many women are left feeling unsure before they even take their first swing. Traditional lessons can feel isolating, overly technical, or hard to stick with — especially when you don’t know where to begin. That’s exactly why we created Carolina ForeHER Workshops — structured, supportive 6-week programs designed specifically for women who want to learn the game with confidence and clarity.

What’s Included in Every Workshop

Each Carolina ForeHER workshop is designed to give you everything you need to learn, practice, and play with confidence.

Every workshop includes:

  • 6 weeks of structured training (1 hour per week)
  • Access to Operation 36, including skill tracking and progression benchmarks
  • One guided 9-hole on-course event to apply what you’ve learned
  • Small group coaching (3–12 women)
  • Access to golf courses or practice facilities
  • Range balls, practice equipment, or simulator time
  • Loaner clubs if you don’t have your own
  • Take-home tips and drills to practice between sessions
  • Access to our private community for support, questions, and connection

You don’t need to bring anything but yourself — we’ll handle the rest.

The CFH Workshop Pathway

Golf 101 – Foundations: Perfect for beginners or anyone who wants to start from the ground up. You’ll learn grip, posture, swing basics, short game fundamentals, and golf etiquette — all while getting comfortable in a welcoming environment.

Golf 201 – Consistency & Confidence: Build on the basics with more individualized feedback, improved ball-striking, short game development, and a deeper understanding of how your swing works.

Golf 301 – On-Course Play: Take your skills onto the course. This level focuses on course management, real-play scenarios, and learning how to confidently navigate a round of golf.

Golf 401 – Progression & Performance: Designed for golfers ready to refine skills, improve scoring, and play more consistently on the course while continuing to progress through Operation 36 benchmarks.

What You’ll Gain

By the end of your workshop, you’ll walk away with:

  • A clear understanding of golf fundamentals and etiquette
  • Real, repeatable swing and short-game skills
  • Confidence stepping onto the range or course
  • Experience playing golf in a supportive environment
  • A clear next step for continuing your golf journey
  • A community of women learning and growing alongside you

Powered by Operation 36

Carolina ForeHER workshops use Operation 36, a simple learning system that helps you build confidence step by step. You start close to the hole, learn the basics first, and progress at your own pace as your skills improve — so golf never feels overwhelming.

Every workshop includes access to the Operation 36 app, which gives you training videos, score and progress tracking, on-course GPS, and a community chat to support your learning between sessions.

Think of it as your personal guide — helping you learn, track progress, and feel confident on the course.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need golf experience to join?

Not at all. Golf 101 is designed specifically for beginners, and our coaches will help place you in the right level.

Do I need my own clubs?

No. Loaner clubs are available if you don’t have your own yet.

What happens if I can’t make one of the weekly sessions?

No problem at all. If you’re unable to attend your scheduled session, you’re welcome to join the same workshop session at another Carolina ForeHER location that week, as all locations cover the same topics during the same week of the program. This flexibility helps you stay on track with the 6-week progression without falling behind.

What happens after the workshop ends?

Many golfers continue into the next workshop level, join a membership, book lessons, or attend events and outings. We’ll help you choose what’s best for your goals.

I’m not sure which level I should start with — what should I do?

No problem. Email us at justine@golforeher.com and we’ll help you find the right starting point.

Can I bring my child to a session?

We prefer to keep our sessions child free but if you’re stuck for child care, bring them along!
